How do creator payouts work on Transformer?
Creators keep 80% of every payout and of any sales commission, credited to their balance as soon as the post is verified on X. Creators request a payout from $10 and are paid by PayPal or USDC, usually within 3 business days; until they request, earnings wait in their balance.

How much of the payout does a creator keep?
80%. Transformer keeps 20%. There are no sign-up fees, subscriptions or payout fees for creators.
| Brand pays | Creator earns |
|---|---|
| $50 | $40 |
| $125 | $100 |
| $250 | $200 |
| $625 | $500 |
If the offer includes a commission, the creator also earns 80% of it, credited per sale the brand reports through the creator's link. A 10% commission on a $100 sale is $10: $8 to the creator and $2 to Transformer.
When is money credited?
The brand pays once the creator accepts, and the payout is held from then on. When every deliverable passes verification, the creator's 80% moves to their available balance. Earnings from offers that aren't verified yet show as pending.
For an offer that covers several deliverables, the payout is released once all of them have passed. Commission is added separately, for each sale the brand reports.
How are payouts sent?
By PayPal or USDC, on Solana or Base. Add a PayPal email or a USDC address in your payout settings, then request a payout of $10 or more. You're usually paid within 3 business days, and the platform pays the transfer fees. Until you request, earnings simply wait in your balance.
Check your details carefully: Transformer's terms say a payout sent to the details you gave is final.
What are the payout rules?
- Minimum: $10. You can request some or all of your available balance.
- Fees: Transformer pays the payout fees, so there are no payout fees for creators.
- Security hold: a request made within 24 hours of changing your payout details is held for a check.
- Cancelling: you can cancel an unpaid request, and the amount returns to your balance.
Do I need a tax form?
Only once your payouts in a calendar year reach the tax-form threshold. Then you need a form on file before the next payout: a W-9 if you're a US person, or a W-8BEN if you're not. You fill it in on Transformer and sign with your typed name. Creators are responsible for their own taxes, and this page isn't tax advice.
Can an agent request payouts for me?
Yes. With a creator workspace key, an agent can check your balance, list earnings, add a payout method and request or cancel payouts over MCP, the CLI or the REST API. See agents and MCP.
What does my balance show?
Your balance separates money by stage, so you always know what you can withdraw:
| Figure | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Earnings from offers that aren't verified yet |
| Available | Credited earnings minus what's been paid or requested |
| Requested | Payout requests that haven't been sent |
| Paid | What you've received, this year and in total |
It also shows the minimum payout and whether a tax form is needed.
