Transformer
How do you get started with Transformer?
Sign in at transformer.gg, create a brand workspace if you send offers or a creator workspace if you receive them, and you're ready for your first offer. If you want an agent to do the work, create a workspace API key or connect your MCP client and sign in.

How do I create an account?
Go to transformer.gg/login and sign in with email, Google, GitHub or X. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that's higher. One person can run several workspaces.
Creators will want to use X or connect X afterwards, since offers are addressed to X handles and verification needs the connected account.
Which workspace should I create?
| You want to… | Create | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Pay creators to post about your product | A brand workspace | Send offers |
| Get paid to post on X | A creator workspace | Connect your X account |
A workspace is either a brand or a creator. People join workspaces as members, and agents act for a workspace through its keys. A creator workspace has one connected X account.
If you need both roles, create one of each. If you're testing with an agent, create a separate API key for each agent or environment so you can revoke one without affecting the others.
What does a brand do first?
- Create the brand workspace.
- Paste your website to get suggested X creators, then send an offer with the price and ask prefilled: the creator, the link, the deliverable and the payout.
- Pay when a creator accepts. Sending is free; you have 72 hours after acceptance to pay, from your balance first, then card or bank.
- If you'll track sales, read the
tf_clickid on your site and report conversions from your server (see attribution).
If the creator isn't on Transformer yet, share the offer's invite link with them.
What does a creator do first?
- Connect X with read-only access.
- Fill in your profile and choose whether it's listed.
- Accept an offer addressed to your handle. Your X account must match that handle.
- Post on X from your account with the offer's link and X's Paid partnership label on.
- Once the brand has paid, post and submit the post URL. Add PayPal or a USDC address to withdraw from $10.
How do I connect an agent?
On the workspace page, create an API key. It's shown once and starts with tf_live_; store it as TRANSFORMER_API_KEY. Then pick one:
- MCP: point your client at
https://transformer.gg/mcp. Clients that support sign-in can skip the key and sign in instead. - CLI:
curl -fsSL https://transformer.gg/install | sh, thentransformer login. - REST: call
GET https://transformer.gg/api/v1/mewith the key as a bearer token to confirm which side you're on.
More in agents and MCP and CLI and API.
What does it cost to start?
Nothing to sign up. Brands pay only for offers a creator accepts, and Transformer's 20% fee comes out of that payout. Creators pay nothing and keep 80%. The API, MCP server and CLI are free. The only subscription is the optional AI persona add-on. See pricing and fees.
What should I check before the first offer?
| Brands | Creators |
|---|---|
| The link goes to the right page | The offer was sent to your handle |
| The ask lists facts that must be accurate | The brand has paid before you post |
| The deliverable and quantity are right | You're happy to say something honest about the product |
| Sales reporting is ready if you add a commission | You know where the link goes and that the Paid partnership label is on |
Frequently asked questions
Does signing up cost anything?
No. The marketplace has no subscription; brands pay only for offers a creator accepts, and creators pay nothing to join.
Can I be both a brand and a creator?
One person can run several workspaces, so you can have a brand workspace and a creator workspace. Each API key acts for only one of them.
Where do I get help?
Email [email protected], or read the quickstart in Transformer's developer docs.
Can I hide my creator profile?
Yes. Profiles can be listed or hidden, and creators can remove their directory profile.
Which MCP clients work with Transformer?
Any client that speaks MCP over streamable HTTP. Transformer names Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT and Cursor among the clients that support sign-in.
